Better Coaching For Less Cost

Group Coaching for ADHD is, in my humble opinion, a better coaching experience for everyone involved. For the coach, it allows them to work fewer hours and help more people. A coach who is working fewer hours is going to have more energy and be more present and engaged.

For members of a coaching group, there are many benefits which include but aren’t limited to:

  • Shared wisdom of the group – sometimes hearing someone else’s hack sparks an idea that works for someone else.
  • Scheduled sessions that are easier to plan around – you know when and where to be and will often get an automated reminder.
  • Often, for a specific number of sessions – so you know when it will end.
  • Increased self-awareness – Learning about others often lets us see ourselves more clearly. In addition, hearing others reflect back to us enables us to know how we are coming across.
  • Development of support and trust within the group – Knowing you are surrounded by people who understand and won’t judge you can be powerful.
  • Being acknowledged for your strengths – We all like to be recognized for what we do well, but in the world, we don’t do that often enough. We do in coaching. People with ADHD spend too much time in negative thought patterns.
  • Knowing your challenges are shared by others. – It is nice to find out you aren’t the only one who does X. We can feel isolated in our challenges, but in coaching groups, they are often shared.
  • Heightened emotional intelligence – Hearing others’ stories and empathizing with them allows us all to grow.
  • Increased knowledge – Often, there is an educational component in a coaching group.
  • Increased commitment and accountability – When you have built trust with a group of people, you tend to show up for them and yourself.
  • Fostering a growth mindset – When you have become self-aware, heard others’ stories and have shared your story, and have more education about ADHD, you realize you have the power to change.

And most people’s favorite benefit is that group coaching is more affordable. Life is more expensive these days.

Some people think coaching is a luxury they can’t afford, but coaching can be a vital tool to help create a life that fits your brain-wiring. If you are stuck or overwhelmed, how long can you afford to go on without making progress in your personal and professional life?
