Having a child with ADHD

People seem to think these days that is it their right to share their opinions whether you have asked for them or not. Having a child with ADHD can be challenging- no child comes with a manual (parenting is hard) but when you aren’t supported by family, friends or the school system because they don’t see the problem or think ADHD is made up, it makes you second guess yourself. Don’t! Get help find people who understand and are accepting, and educate the rest or let them go. Children with ADHD need support and structure to grow up to be successful. They are full of life and energy. We shouldn’t be squashing that but we should be helping them refocusing it. This is why I work with students and families to improve everyone’s lives.
